The Bairns New Year Revels, taking place on 31 December, invites younger partygoers to a family-style ceilidh at the Assembly Rooms to enjoy some live music and learn the steps to a number of traditional dances in a relaxed, learning-style environment. 

Doors open for this event at 1:30pm, so there’s plenty of time before you’ll have to rally the children for the nighttime celebrations.
