This Website is provided to assist customers in gathering information and booking tickets for events organised by Unique Assembly Ltd, including Edinburgh’s Christmas, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, and WinterFest events, and for no other purposes. The terms "we," "us," "our," and "Unique Assembly" refer to Unique Assembly Ltd (Company number SC740061). The term "you" refers to the customer visiting the Website and/or purchasing ticket(s) on this Website.
Unique Assembly Limited, incorporated in Scotland (Company number SC740061) with its registered office at 2 Roxburgh Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, EH8 9SU, is the “Promoter” of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay events – including the “Hogmanay Street Party,” “Concert in the Gardens,” “Candlelit Concert in St Giles’ Cathedral,” “Torchlight Procession,” and New Year’s Day “First Footin” (each an “Event” and collectively the “Events”).
The “Ticket Holder” is the individual in possession of a ticket, whether purchased or otherwise, to any of the Events. The “Venue” refers to the location where an Event is scheduled to take place.
The purchase and/or use of a ticket(s) for any Event(s) constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any terms and conditions printed on an Event ticket or posted at an Event are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Agreement to Terms
This Website is offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of all the terms, conditions, and notices set forth below (collectively the "Agreement"). By accessing or using this Website in any manner, you agree to be bound by the Agreement and represent that you have read and understood its terms. Please read the Agreement carefully, as it contains important information concerning your legal rights and limitations on these rights, as well as a section regarding applicable law and jurisdiction of disputes. If you do not accept all these terms and conditions, you are not authorised to use this Website.

3. Prohibited Activities
The content on this Website, including but not limited to messages, data, information, text, music, sound, photos, graphics, video, software, code, logos, or other material, as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, is proprietary to us. You agree not to:

(iii) Violate website security or circumvent access restrictions;

4. Ticket Purchase Terms
Calls to the official Box Office at 0131 623 3033 are charged at local landline rates or free, depending on callers' phone contracts. Mobile network charges may vary.
4.1 Age Requirement
To purchase items from us, you must have a valid credit/debit card issued in your name.
4.2 Ticket Sales
All tickets are sold subject to availability and these Terms and Conditions. The purchase of a ticket constitutes an agreement to these Terms and Conditions. A valid ticket must be produced for entry into an event. When booking, notify us of any access requirements. Altering or defacing a ticket may invalidate it.
4.3 Entry Refusal
Management reserves the right to refuse entry for reasonable causes, such as health and safety concerns, licensing reasons, or voided tickets.
4.4 Personal Arrangements
Personal arrangements, including travel, accommodation, or hospitality relating to the Event, are at your own risk. Neither we nor the Event Partner(s) shall be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure.
4.5 Pricing and Charges
The price for the products that you order will be the price quoted on the website at the date the order is received, except in the case of obvious error. All prices currently advertised do not include delivery charges, which are advised during the checkout process before any purchase is completed. You can check your delivery charges for your basket prior to checkout.
4.6 VAT and Payment
All prices currently advertised are inclusive of VAT (where applicable). We currently do not offer VAT exemption for international customers or any geographical regions. The grand total of the order is the price of the product(s) ordered plus the delivery charge.
We currently only accept the following payment cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Solo, Amex. The price charged to customers outside the United Kingdom will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer’s credit or debit card company, which we do not define or determine. Your debit or credit card will be charged once you submit your order.
4.7 Card Authorisation
By submitting a credit or debit card number, you represent and warrant that your use of the card is authorised and that all information submitted is true and accurate, and you authorise us to charge the card tendered for all amounts payable based on the products ordered.
4.8 Validation Checks
You may be subject to validation checks and/or third-party authorisations during the ordering process.
4.9 Personal Liability
You are personally liable for any orders that you place and charges that you incur.
4.10 Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation. If an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered seats at a rescheduled event or other performances (subject to availability) or receive a refund up to the face value of the tickets. No refund will be given for tickets ejected or refused entry due to inappropriate behaviour.
4.11 Seating
Events feature unreserved seating, and we cannot guarantee that groups will be seated together.
5. Event Rules and Safety
5.1 Alcohol and Food Policy
Neither alcohol nor hot food may be brought onto any Unique Assembly venues. Only food purchased on the premises may be consumed. Alcohol can only be purchased and consumed in licensed bar areas, and licensing laws will be strictly enforced.
5.2 Mobile Devices
All mobile devices must be switched off during events.
5.3 Recording Equipment
No recording or copying equipment is allowed in the auditorium. Any violation may result in confiscation of the equipment, and no refund will be issued.
5.4 Search Policy
For safety and security reasons, Unique Assembly may search personal possessions while on the premises. Refusal to be searched will result in denied entry without a refund.
6. Liability
6.1 Limited Liability
Personal arrangements such as travel, accommodation, or hospitality relating to an event are at your own risk. Our liability in connection with an event is limited to the ticket price paid by you, excluding delivery fees.
Edinburgh Christmas Filming & Photography Policy
Edinburgh’s Christmas is filled with family attractions and illuminations, and visitors are welcome to take photographs or video of themselves, friends and family with hand-held/ compact cameras or smart phones for personal, non-commercial use. Please feel free to share your images on social media using #EDCHRISTMAS
For the safety and comfort of all visitors, and to protect young persons attending the events, the use of professional camera equipment for filming and photography within our licensed event arenas is strictly prohibited without prior registration and approval from Edinburgh’s Christmas. This includes, but not limited to, the use of Digital SLR cameras, cameras with interchangeable/long-lenses and tripods.
If you do not have required approval and are asked to stop use of such equipment by security, please do not be offended and respect the privacy of those attending. Any professional and/or commercial photography and videography must be approved by our Press Office in advance.
If security are concerned or have been approached about photographs or video that you are taking, you will be asked to stop and referred to our Press Office. Edinburgh's Christmas reserves the right within our licensed event areas, at our sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph on our premises.
