Edinburgh’s Hogmanay has welcomed millions of revellers from around the world to celebrate the New Year in the heart of the city for over 30 years. Earning Edinburgh the nickname ‘Home of Hogmanay’, and one of the world’s biggest New Year celebrations, the 4-day festival encompasses old and new traditions including music, fireworks, ceilidhs, comedy, family events and more.  

This year’s spectacular programme of events kicks off with the glorious Torchlight Procession, which sees the Capital illuminated by a river of fire cascading through the historic Old Town. Then the World-Famous Street Party will return to once again light-up the Edinburgh skies, at one of the world’s greatest New Year celebrations!
