Safety Tips
At Edinburgh's Hogmanay, we take your safety and security seriously. We work closely with the Police and Emergency services to encourage everyone to help keep each other safe this winter.
We ask you to help by staying alert and trusting your instincts.
While you’re with us, you will see our security team & stewards, who are there to help you if you need it. If something doesn’t feel right, tell them straight away and they will do the rest.

Bear in mind
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay outdoor events are very busy, all-standing and in the middle of the Scottish winter, so please dress for the weather.
Phone signal in the area will be limited, so come prepared with your tickets downloaded and arrange a meeting point with your friends. Be advised Street Party tickets do not allow access into the Concert in the Gardens or any other advertised Festival events.
There will be access to extensive range of outdoor bars, street food and toilets throughout the Street Party / Concert in the Gardens arena.
No persons under 12yrs permitted at the Night Afore Concert, Street Party or Concert in the Gardens events. Anyone under 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs of age.
