Santa will once again be visiting Edinburgh's Christmas with his elves to delight the little ones with our celebrated Santa’s Stories experience.
The magic of Christmas is brought to life, as Santa and his helpers make Edinburgh their home for the season! The halls of his cabin are decked, the hot chocolate simmering away and blankets toasted to keep your tootsies warm as we settle in for a festive tale and to meet the big man himself. All performances last approximately 20 minutes.
Ticket Information
Please select a Child + Included Adult ticket per child. Each ticket admits one child and includes entry for one accompanying adult.
Additional Adult tickets can only be added once a Child + Included Adult ticket has been selected. You can add up to Four Additional Adult tickets for each Child + Included Adult ticket in your basket.

Important Session Information
Regardless of age, all children attending require a ticket to attend Santa's Story Session. For example, if an adult accompanies one child, please select a Child + Adult ticket; if additional adults will be attending, you may add an extra Adult ticket. Each child’s ticket includes a special gift and a memorable photo opportunity with Santa.
- Santa’s Stories is located in West Princes Street Gardens
- Please note, Santa is very busy getting ready for Christmas and your ticket is valid for your booked time ONLY. These are slotted sessions and unfortunately cannot be transferred to another time.
- Please make your way to the venue and show your ticket to our Front of House staff 10 minutes before your allotted time to get ready to meet Santa
- Regardless of age, all children must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by one adult as included with the ticket. Due to limited space any additional adults should be booked in in advance. Walk ups cannot be accommodated on busy shows.
- There is no room in the venue for prams or buggies. There will be a buggy park but we cannot guarantee cover. Please prepare accordingly as buggies are left at your own risk.
- Children must remain under the care and supervision of their adult at all times.

Child + Adult: This ticket includes admission for one child and one free accompanying adult.
Additional Adult: This ticket includes admission for one adult only. This ticket cannot be booked without at least one 'Child + Adult' ticket in your booking.
Please Note:
- Every Child requires a Child + Adult ticket
- Every Child must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
- One adult can accompany up to four children
- You do not have to have an attending adult for every Child + Adult ticket, as long as there is at least one accompanying adult between every four children
For Example: If you are two adults and are bringing three children, you need to purchase three 'Child + Adult' tickets. This will cover both adults and all three children. You do not need to bring a third adult.
Enhanced Performances
Relaxed performances are designed to create a more relaxed environment for people to enjoy theatre. These performances can be a great experience for individuals with disabilities, sensory sensitivities or anyone who would benefit from a relaxed environment. They offer a relaxed atmosphere, sensory adjustments, and trained staff to provide a comfortable experience.
During these sessions, you'll find:
- Smaller groups with fewer families able to book each session
- Music volume lowered throughout and can be turned off if required
- No flashing lights or loud noises
- A fully wheelchair accessible Grotto
- Fully trained elves and staff in disability awareness

Audio Described performances include an additional audio track that describes the visual elements of the production, including details of the movements of actors, costumes, props, scenery and lighting. These performances may be beneficial for individuals who are blind or have low vision.

A signed performance is a show that incorporates sign language interpretation, often used by individuals who are D/deaf or hard of hearing and use sign language. A BSL (British Sign Language) trained interpreter will usually stand at the side of the stage during the performance to interpret spoken dialogue, lyrics, and sounds from the show.
