# Edinburgh Santa Fun Run & Walk

Celebrate 21 years of welcoming Santas and Elves for the much loved family fundraising event!

Run, jog or walk around the 2.5km circuit of West Princes Street Gardens, whilst raising money for [**When You Wish Upon A Star**](https://www.whenyouwishuponastar.org.uk/).

All money raised from the Edinburgh Santa Fun Run & Walk will be used to help fund Wishes creating the most magical of memories for children who are aged 4-16 and who live with a life threatening illness.

**Public Transport**

Registration will take place at the Ross Bandstand in West Princes Street Gardens.

West Princes Street Gardens is located on major bus routes and tram lines. Please visit [www.lothianbuses.com](https://www.lothianbuses.com/) for more information.

If coming from out of Edinburgh via a train we would recommend to choose Edinburgh Waverley Station as your destination point and then walk over to West Princes Street Gardens.

**Parking**

There is limited on street paid parking facilities around West Princes Street Gardens. We recommend taking public transport wherever possible to the event.

Do not bring large bags with you for the Edinburgh Santa Fun Run & Walk

There will be no bag drop off during the event ALL participants must keep all belongings on them at all times.

Please remain vigilant at all times and if you are concerned at any time please inform a Wish event team member who will be wearing a high vis vest
