Your confirmation email contains a QR code for all tickets in your order. Your QR code** must be scanned at your chosen Entrance Gate** to access the Street Party. All tickets in your order will be validated upon scan. Please** make sure your whole party arrives together**. **Download your e-ticket** to your digital device and **have the QR code ready** to be scanned on the night. Your QR Code can be stored in Google and Apple wallets. Please be aware that **internet access may be limited**due to the large number of people in the area. --- ### Entry Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party offers three designated entrances for attendees. Please choose your entrance gate based on where you are staying/travelling from - east/west/south - as once purchased, entry gates cannot be exchanged or modified under any circumstances. Kindly enter through your chosen gate as specified. - **South Gate:**Bank Street / Top of The Mound (South City Centre). Each ticket designates a specific gate for entry. Admittance is strictly via this gate. Changes post-purchase are not permitted. - **East Gate Entry:**Princes Street East End, junction of the North Bridge. Each ticket designates a specific gate for entry. Admittance is strictly via the gate detailed on your ticket. Please select your gate carefully as changes post purchase is not permitted. - **West Gate Entry**: Princes Street West End, off bottom of Lothian Road. Anyone under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age - Alcohol can be brought into the Street Party event arena in only plastic or metal containers under 500ml. The maximum number of containers you can bring is 4 per person. Glass is not permitted - This event has a strict NO-DRONE policy - Avoid bringing any bags larger than a sheet of A3 paper (297mm x 420mm) - Please arrive early; the last entry is at 11:00pm - Re-entry to the event is NOT permitted (i.e. leaving the Street Party arena and then trying to regain admittance) - Please note specific entry gates may be closed temporarily throughout the event for safety reasons. If your gate is temporarily closed, you will be directed to your nearest entrance gate on arrival _This is an outdoor event taking place in winter in Scotland. Please dress accordingly and note that we operate a **no umbrellas** policy for safety reasons and to ensure sightlines of other people. We will provide weather updates across all four days of events_. --- ### Prohibited Items ⁠Please note the following list of prohibited items, which will not be permitted at the event for safety: - No Glass of any kind - This event has a strict NO-DRONE policy - No Flares or Smoke Canisters - No Chinese Lanterns - No portable laser equipment or pens - No pyrotechnics/fireworks (we have more than enough for everyone to enjoy) - No Umbrellas - No Dogs or Animals (except registered assistance dogs) - No unauthorised professional film or camera equipment.
