Edinburgh’s Hogmanay wins Regional Thistle Award ‘Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival’
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay scooped a much-coveted Regional Thistle Award last night at a ceremony held in the capital!
The Scottish Thistle Awards have become an annual celebration of excellence, collaboration and innovation within one of the country’s most important sectors, and for thirty years, have shone a spotlight on the very best of the tourism industry, from
family-run farms to city centre pubs, exhilarating events and climate champions.
A total of 15 awards were given out to the very best of tourism and events businesses and individuals in the region, and Edinburgh’s Hogmanay picked up ‘Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival’, against a shortlist of amazing events and organisations including Fringe by the Sea, Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo, Edinburgh Fringe Society and The Tartan Exhibition : V&A Dundee.
Edinburgh creatives Unique Assembly who produce Edinburgh’s Hogmanay on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council, would like to thank everyone in the UA Team, our festival partners and supporters, all our suppliers, our incredible artists and performers, and audiences who joined us from across the world, to ensure that the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 30th anniversary was a spectacular event to remember.
