Who says Christmas can’t come early! Edinburgh’s Christmas is once again offering local residents a discount on rides and attractions at this year’s Christmas Market, Fri 15 Nov 2024 – Sat 4 Jan 2025.  

Residents with an EH postcode can enter the Christmas spirit with a 20% discount on tickets to a selection of Edinburgh’s Christmas events this year. So, jump on a tram, train or bus and come join in the festive fun with us!  

Enjoy one of the best views of the city from atop The LNER Big Wheel, Scotland’s largest Ferris-wheel standing at 45 metres tall!  

Take a break from the Christmas Shopping on Edinburgh’s famous George Street, and glide your way all around the magnificent George St Ice Rink enjoying Edinburgh’s beautiful Georgian skyline through our clear roof.  

Take the perfect family portrait within the illuminated Christmas Tree Maze in the scenic St Andrew Square. Before paying a visit to Santa and his elves to hear a Christmas tale and receive a festive gift, or just spend some quality time together at the family funfair in Princes Street Gardens.  

Claiming the discount couldn’t be easier:  

• Register for/log in to your Edinburgh’s Christmas account with an eligible postal address 
• Once registered, we’ll save your details so that next time you need only provide a name and email to make the most of this offer 
• Now, book your standard priced tickets online with a payment card registered to an eligible postal address 
• Check to make sure that your 20% discount has been applied to the relevant tickets 
• Or if you are purchasing in person, ask for the EH Local Resident Discount and bring a proof of address to one of our on-site box offices or ticket staff at rides 
• Box Offices will be available at West Princes Street Gardens, East Princes Street Gardens, and George Street
