Edinburgh's Christmas is the ultimate destination for festive family fun, lighting up Scotland's capital with festive cheer from Saturday 14 November 2026 - Sunday 3 January 2027. 

It's world-famous Christmas Markets are the centre-piece of celebrations, presented in and around Edinburgh city centre, welcome visitors from across Scotland, UK, Europe and beyond.

Created and produced by Unique Assembly on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council, Edinburgh’s Christmas is one of the UK’s largest winter events, which in 2025/26 welcomed over 3M visitors to 7-weeks of celebrations, generating an economic impact of over £170M for the local economy.
